Self-myofascial release (SMR) is a daily flexibility technique that I highly recommend! Even if your little one is crawling all over you! #momlife


What is SMR?! Also known as, Foam rolling, SMR is a technique that will help improve your flexibility, enhance muscle recovery, reduce soreness, correct any muscle imbalances & reduce pain from overactive muscles.

SMR alleviates those trigger spots and areas of tightness located within a band of muscle.

Foam rolling can be done before stretching, as part of your cool-down or by itself. If you have any medical issues make sure you get the ok from your doctor.

How to:


Slowly roll over area until that tender spot is found. Once you find it hold over that spot for at least 30 seconds. Maintain core engagement and take your time to enjoy the benefits.

I love the rumble roller! But any foam roller will work!!
